I'm not concerned about my character, it's my flimsy little mages that usually die.

I'm pretty sure I did...

Ever since I watched Wolf's Rain I just love these guys. I didn't run into many wolves in games but usually they didn't do all these things, at most they attacked me because they felt threatened. So I killed them with a few arrows. I don't know, never seemed to be bug me much.

CREMATOR666 wrote:Hence, I have countless deja vus of seeing one of my characters knocked down and mauled to death just as I was about to assign them some healing - it's a friggin pain. I don't know if your strength affects the time in which the wolf will ass-rape you on the ground , sometimes the character kicks it off just in time but even then it takes like, 60% of your health and if you happened to be lower than that you're pretty much screwed.

As I said before, I never got assraped by wolves, and to the point: in Dragon Age I think they have some serious roles in the overall plot, they can talk and converse, and therefore you have the chance of not fighting them at all.

And bandits.
And blood mages.

And hitler. Cheers

Cremator666, are you playing it on normal? wait till you get fireball spell with your mage, its total kick ass.. think i used it like 90% of the fights.

oh, and do complete ALL quests before final battle, cause you cant do those after you finish the game (witch is odd decision imo)

Lol yeah I'm playing it on normal - Iono I encounter wolves very often when I travel, its kinda annoying, I don't know how they randomize that but they need to give me more variety.

And yeah man, I got the fireball spell, finally got to fireball people after being fireballed so many times :D

It would be nice if I could rotate the damn camera...I'm tired of trying to find doors from behind black walls.

Seriously, I'm getting frustrated over not being able to rotate the camera. I've checked the controls and there's only panning and moving, but no rotating.

I can't imagine how bad the camera is in the console versions.

Anyway, so far, the combat is actually good. I thought it would be bad, but I guess not...I JUST WANT TO ROTATE THE CAMERA!

What are you thoughts about this game. Is it worth it? Makes it true all the things you expect it to be?

Definately worth it, it's really awesome, and highly replayable.

Nub you can rotate the camera if you are half way zoomed or more and hold down right mouse button, hope that helps :smt023

I started playing this last night and I have to say I really like it. It reminds me very much of Neverwinter Nights. These are the only kinds of games I play other than FPS. Now I can not wait until my 295 GTX replacement comes I will be rocking!!!

You get used to it really quick, it should be the default, also holding down right mouse button rotates the camera. I have had no problems what so ever with this game.

I have a fucking awesome axe with flame enchant, it's pimp!

This game is amazing.

Anyway, I figured out the right mouse button immediately after asking about it. :D

Other than that, I've already beaten the game once as a human warrior, and now I'm doing my 2nd playthrough as a human mage. This time I have the two DLC quests installed too, I hope they're worth it. This game is definitely the best of 2009 for me. L4D2 will be really fun, but not as much of an experience as this was. Great story, and the best character interaction I've ever seen.
