Postal 2?

Nah, I want to be an undercover agent who is authorized to eliminate civilians. In other words, it's all for the greater good.

Playing as some fucktard who went postal doesn't satisfy me.

Well do a mod then?

Actually, now that you mention it, I've been waiting for Scientist Hunt: Source for years. There was little more fun than the original Scientist Hunt... I can feel my pulse race just thinking of how great it would be on Source with the ragdoll physics and whatnot.

You can also cheat so that when you urinate on people they burst into flames. I mean... This is probably the most violent game ever, and people are complaining about MW2.

I actually thought that mission was pretty epic. I mean, c'mon... you've got a big ass machine gun, you're dressed in an awesome suit, and you've just walked into an airport full of civvies with your equally awesome-looking comrades. How is possible to not have fun with that situation? :P

Reminded me a lot of bank robbery scenes in movies where the robbers walk in all casual like and just generally act in an epic manner.

Seriously. What's not to like?

I will admit that Makorov is the most likeable character in the game for me.

I <3 you Vcool.

And to be honest, who the fuck thinks the CIA would really do something like this? It's a retarded concept even if it is completely fictional. Because of this, there's absolutely no justification like people say there is. The game is better off wihtout the needless scene that makes no sense! (How the fuck did you get as far as you got into an airport dressed the way they were, and why did no alarms go off and why were there no security gaurds?)

Not only that, but there's no gameplay obstacle here. There's nothing you even have to do, which makes it just dumb. It isn't even a video game at that point, and I would much rather watch cutscenes than generic "text some guy reads that is your 'briefing'" sequence.

Honestly, MW2's single player is trash, and the only thing I ever want to hear about mw2 is it's multilayer, and even then I still get revolted every time I hear the words modern warfare come out of someones mouth.

Did you play through the whole thing? Sure, the civilians don't fight back, but once you get out of the terminal, you have to get through swat teams and stuff. There's plenty to do. And it sets the stage for the rest of the game.

Hello? It's a video game. It sounds to me like you have extremely high expectations.

Agreed about the single player; COD4's is supreme in every single way, but I think simply bitching about the game is a little...well, quite frankly immature. No doubt you've got some solid points behind it, but simply being 'revolted' is overkill mate.

Multiplayer is essentially the reason for the game's existence. It fucking owns.

I'm actually disappointed with the multiplayer compared to CoD4. The maps are much worse, the weapons are completely unbalanced again, more than half the perks are completely useless to use for a full game, Matchmaking is completely randomized and not based on skill and I'm sure there's more but I don't want to think about it anymore.

I had a lot of fun for a week with it, but I can't play it nearly as much as I could on CoD4. Hopefully I can get back into it a bit because I don't feel the week of multiplayer was worth trading in half of my games for.

You know I can see both sides here. I totally agree that if you are offended by things like this you need not play these games. Though I can see why people get upset with this kind of material being in games. Though I really think in a lot of cases people freak out about this stuff because they are not doing a good job raising their kids, so they protect them from things like this. The fact is that if kids are raised properly, they can watch whatever they want, and play whatever they want to and not be effected or influenced in a negative way. I grew up watching horror movies and playing violent video games but I never lashed out or was violent.

The long and the short of it is finger pointing. People do not like taking responsibility for their kids being little shits, so they look for the easiest thing to blame. Whether it be music, a movie, a tv show or a game, It is far easier to say "those things effected my child in a bad way" than it is to say "my lack of influence on my child caused my child to suck at life"

That's just how I see it. But I was fortunate enough to be raised by parents who where involved in my life...

It seems epic because you move slowly with a machine gun and most of the begnning is sort of slow motion...
I didn't like that level any less then most of the game, and I didn't like the latter that much. The Single Player was really a waste of time to me, the set-pieces were impressive but the rest is just a bloody senseless mess. Infinity Ward really disappointed me on that one.

Yes, the Single campaign was really what I was waiting for. I already have COD4 for kickass multiplayer, I don't need a slightly better variation for 60$. Trash game, biggest dissapointment of 2009 for me... :(
