Looks pretty badass. Can we expect the same for the PC?

It'll need to be pretty good in order for them to lure me back after the crapfest that was Double Agent.

And if I can't make a good pacifist run, I don't know what I'll do. I mean, that's how I get the replay value out of the SC series...

Yeahhhh... Double Agent was really lame. Conviction is fucking awesome compared! I remember when I first got on the project and was playing the game in blockout, and it was super fun stuff. I really doubt you will be disappointed. There is a lot of game in there too.

The coop won't only be 3 missions like in Chaos Theory, will it? I never played Double Agent because I heard it was shitty.

Oh come FUCKING on, are the russians bad again?

"AAA" title devs have no fucking imagination tbh.

I have nothing but praise for Chaos Theory, but Double Agent... Well, let's just say I pretty much stopped playing after one "city hub" mission where I spent lots of time doing uber-sneaky stuff in order to have the time and positioning to complete every optional objective on a level... And, whoops, the only door to the objective isn't an openable object! Sure, the objective is available the next time the slightly-different-map/level is loaded.... but what is the goddamn sense putting an impossible objective onto my screen? :smt021

That, and the whole "sneak" side of the game seemed to be a lot worse. It seemed like the game wanted to put you in a lot more situations where you thought you were covered or hard to see, but the AI had no trouble, so the only dependable way through is incapacitate the guards, often lethally.

I'll take my words back if we end up getting to nuke the White House. :P

EDIT: Damn you all guys from Vancouver, seriously, every other artist in the industry based in Canada is from there/works there.

Where are all the Torontonians. >:|

lawls, I don't want them to go pick some random contry. Sam fisher has fucked with every "badguy" nation in the book, except russia. Till now I guess.

I just love how with every game that has russian as the bad guys, the settings and situations are all so different. That's where the imagination comes in :)

Nah, the end villain is always some evil bearded/moustached gentleman with a gruff voice, a love for vodka, girls and killing.

I haven't actually read any of his books, I remember contemplating picking one up at the library but it looked pretty boring. Maybe I was just too young.

EDIT: oh, don't forget the baddie is always communist.
