Your Favorite Horror Games

I think the mod Nightmare House deserves a brief mention. How many other good horror mods have there been? I can't think of many at all. Does the new one called Flesh count? I don't find it scray yet because there are some issues with the NPC's and player movement. I also found 3rd person to remove the fear for me. But in Nightmare House, you are all alone with the zomb's and it's actually horror.

RE4 was a good scary game because I felt a need to preserve myself - the enemies were very hazardous and aggressive, especially the chainsaw guy. My very first time playing Half-Life was an absolute shit in the pants because the aliens would appear from thin air and attack from behind. The darkness and the storyline were so freaky and my imagination ran wild while crawling in the vents.

First Silent Hill, played upstairs on my own in the dark. Literally scared me shitless.

Call of Cthulhu was a great horror game, i demand more respect for it. Condemned: criminal origins was a great game to play in the dark. It forces you to use melee so much ---> getting close to enemies sucks if you're afraid of them. Dead Space

I just downloaded the remake of their first one. Gonna play it.

I'm currently playing Condemned: Criminal Origins which is also pretty damn awesome.

I own them all but i didnt finished requiem cuz it had nothing to do with black plague and was just boring imo

It was only the first half or so of the original Nightmare House that I found scary, until I found out that I was only fighting default HL2 zombies, and that doesn't really cut it for me.
