Shepard dies for everyone that hasn't played the game.

He doesn't die on everyone's playthrough but he can die. He probably died on yours because you're awful and you came here to "spoil" it because you're a stupid dick who thought that he dies in everyone's playthrough. You're an awful stupid dick.

I think he meant that Shepard is dead in ME3 if you don't import a save. Bioware confirmed this before launch.

Pwnd was being a fag and spoiled another bit for me.

Shepard's death was known since ME2 was announced.

I didn't know either. Granted I haven't even bought the game, but I will eventually.

Lmao, I love all the flaming responses xD
I can't say anymore than what I said without actually spoiling the game for people.
Damn that post.

So many references in the game.

Highlight to read:
Remember the qwib-qwib admiral on the flotilla?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berserker_%28Saberhagen%29

The Berserker is a series of space opera science fiction short stories by American author Fred Saberhagen (in which robotic self-replicating machines intend to destroy all organic life. These berserkers, a doomsday weapon left over from an interstellar war 50,000 years ago, are killer spaceships furnished with machine intelligence, operating from asteroid-sized berserker bases where they are capable of building more Berserkers and auxiliary machines. The name is a reference to the human "Berserkers", warriors of Norse legend.

Later stories introduce "goodlife", traitors or collaborators who cooperate with the Berserker machines to stay alive for a while (Berserkers refer to all non-Berserkers as "badlife"), and the qwib-qwib, an anti-Berserker Berserker.

Now I want to read that stuff.

I beat mass effect 2 then I went back and beat mass effect 1 and now I'm going to beat mass effect 2 again with the mass effect 1 character

feels good

I've played it for 50 hours in the course of 4 days now though, that's more than I've done for anything in a LONG time. I've had a headache for the last two days. I spent at least 8 hours completing ME1 today.

I wonder if their physiology is really that much different.

I mean, sure the organ placement and stuff can be different, but anatomically they seem pretty close to humans.

Of course no one has seen them without a suit, so we can't say.

I just realised that their helmets aren't simply helmets, it looks like they have some kind of augmented reality thing going on.

I ended up using the sniper-rifle pretty much exclusively with my Infiltrator in ME1.

In ME2 it seems they've added some ammunition/disposable-heat-dump system. Is it a sniper-rifle nerf?

All weapons use the damn ammo system.
