Bioshock bargain?

Postby Megadude on Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:17 am

Seems that Bioshock 2 is now available for prepurchasing. However, as well as getting the usual discounted price when games are prepurchased, (10% in this case), you get Bioshock for free as well. They also have a 4-pack offer as well - 4 discounted Bioshock 2 games and 4 free Bioshock games.

I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone around the world, but it seems that for us Brits, the price is meant to be £39.99 full price, but Steam has the discounted price as £26.99 instead of the £35.99 it should be with the 10% discount :smt023

I really wish I could freaking pre-order this and Mass Effect 2...and I wish I could have bought the Organic Pack with Overgrowth and NS2 in it...

I'll be getting Mass Effect 2 first though, since I anticipate it the most.

I don't remember Bioshock being a Console Port...nor Mass Effect for that matter. In fact I think it was the other way around.

Even so, the game seemed fine to me. :-D

Bioshock was a console port... I guess it was one of those games that disappointed me after having played it half-way through and never finishing it. Money well wasted.

True, the first half was amazing, got really boring after a while. Never finished it.
