NS2 is going to be AWESOME, I could still play the first one because it has such a great mix of rts and fps.

Despite the fact the made AVP:2000, which was good, don't get your hopes up too much, Rebellion doesn't have the *ahem* best track record.

As far as I know, or at least what I've picked up from the steam forums, is that it was a different Rebellion division that made Rogue Warrior.

The mp demo is on steam everyone. I can't say what I think of it yet as the demo only has fucking matchmaking and I haven't been able to join a game yet, oh how I got mad. They said the full game will have dedicated servers though... of course the menu looks very consoleish.

Ive had a good few goes on it, and i'm really enjoying it. It took me a while to lern the controls and get the hang of it but it's really good.

I finished top on a quite a few games playing as Marine and Alien, ive yet to play the predator :D

The demo is a fucking waste of time, can't join any servers. If you can't release a demo correctly then don't fucking bother to do it at all ... this doesn't leaves a good first impression on the game.

There're some serious connection issues with the game, I've only managed to actually get in-game once (mind you, once I was in there was no hint of lag or connection problems). The one game I did get in was good fun, although either the Marine is overpowered or everyone I played against was terrible...

This game reminds me how I dislike matchmaking...

Anyway, I don't like this moments when i have to hold on a button to do something (like walking on walls, but i started to be a little frustrated when I couldn't unstick for some reason)
However, getting behind marine, grabbing him and sticking second mouth or tail into him, it gives so goddamn satisfaction ^.^

Holding to crawl on walls is no issue at all, worked great in the old games. Ive yet to get into a game in the demo, and unless they fix this matchmaking mess I dont think Ill buy the game. What good is a an AvP demo when you can only play deathmatch anyway... seems rushed.
