I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 really, perhaps I didn't give it enough of a change, but it did nothing much for me. This looks okay, the setting looks neat, but then it was like DUN DUN DUN and the bad guy and he's all turning his shoulder with a red mask because he's all bad. And then some cliche quote about war and I was like "wat".

So.. Is this another expansion pack? Or a new game with the full price of a new game?

None the less, I enjoyed Fallout 3 and all it's DLCs so I would probably enjoy this too.

New developers (obsidian entertainment), new game. Unfortunately no Chris Avellone.

The teaser looks a lot like the first one for fallout 3. I'm a bit disappointed they choose to go the exact same way. At least it looks like the environments will be more urban, which could be cool.

Same engine, new game, new character, new city, new weapons, new dev team (original lead guys)

Im so buying this.

FO3 was the last game I "demoed" that was so good I HAD to buy it. In fact, last singleplayer game this good I played was HL2 so yeah. Im pretty stoked.

You should have given it a chance. It wasn't a great shooter because of VATS, but it had a pretty good story and interesting RPG elements.

Anyway what makes you think that's a bad guy? The people in the first trailer were actually good in the game. Although enemies later in the game do wear that power armor too.

He has red eyes, he must be evil! Original lead guys from what, fallout 3? I really enjoyed Fallout 3, mainly because I felt it had soul which few games nowadays seem to have.

I actually found the game enjoyable to a point. Though I found within a few hours of playing i got headaches. I get the same thing when i play borderlands. I got pretty far in FO3 but never finished it. Unfortunately I rebuilt my gamer and never copied my saved games. Maybe i will play it again now that I have a beefier machine to run it.

It was part of the speech at the end of Fallout 3. You know, the one where they either tell you you're a prince in shining armor or a giant rotting turd depending on how many annoying characters you decided to off? I have to say I love Fallout, and that ending was pretty awesome, but if I hadn't played it I would have probably found that trailer to be stupid as balls.

Does anyone notice that this is the exact same trailer as fallout 3's?

Well it is the same concept but it follows the theme of the game... I played all of the older Fallout games and the stories where what made them great. The took huge leaps forward with the graphics in the latest game as well as changed the gameplay a lot. Almost to the point where it was focused more on the graphics and less on the story. The story was still there, but i think you know what i mean.

I believe that is done intentionally.

I would enjoy the game far more if they improve the NPC Combat AI. They took the cheap way out and just put the health at some asinine amount, which means you can pump round after round into someone's head without killing them... besides that, the F3 game is overall pretty good, hopefully New Vegas is even better.
Have a question related to modding or something I posted? Something that needs staff attention? I haven't been active lately, but feel free to PM me or message me on Steam(link below)

Wait...the same engine as Fallout 3? So...horrible optimization?

They better have updated it...

There are good mods that completely balance this out.
