I just wish they let you play as J.C. and not this Jensen dude, plus this is before Dues Ex 1.

Umm JC doesn't exist yet in Deus Ex 3.

I was impressed by the trailer. But trailers and gameplay are two different things.

Yeah I know, but still. Also the only thing I don't like about the gameplay video's is the take downs. People would just do that trough out the whole game. Also I don't like the cover system, I liked dues ex 1 because I could hide in cover but it didn't lock me, and I could still peak around corner.

And.. thats a bad thing? You're acting like its the only option. I don't see how its different from sneaking up behind someone and sticking a Dragon's Tooth Sword into their anus like you could in DX1. Its the same thing except these have better presentation.
I like the cover system because doing it in first person in DX1 was so clunky. You could expose most of your body from around a corner and the NPCs wouldn't see you.

What the hell is with Square and their bullshit closed screenings anyway, aren't the people that are going to buy the game allowed to see it.

You have a meter that has to charge first, so you can't just go spamming them all over the place.

my comments about Dx3
Graphics and Art Direction, It Feels like Deus Ex with a pinch of Ghost in the shell and Blade Runner
The cover system ala splinter cell, it helps if you are a stealth guy
Takedowns, only works in close combat
overall impressed waiting for more ..

what i'd like to see is the Hud and the control scheme, inventory ect

actually the footage was from a Pre-Alpha build buggy in some places (ie the 3rd to the first person transition where the camera went through the model)

It was hilarious the first time I found out the "peeking" from corners was actually just sliding your whole body out.

Don't know if this has been posted before? Looks incredibly sweet, and from what I've seen and read so far it might actually do the original justice. This has to be one of the best trailers I've ever seen. *drools*

I wouldn't get too pumped about the movie, since the real test is the gameplay.

That said, I heard there were some developer comments about maintaining the sneak/fight/hack/social alternatives which seems to be a very good sign.
