I already finished the SP and been playing MP for 6 hours.

SP is quite good, isn't the best game ever, but is fun, I rate it 8.5/10

Server browser could be a lot better, anyway, multiplayer is fucking great. It's the best online game I've ever player, it's all I've ever wanted to be in a game.

Online's great, absolutely ruined by snipers and people who only use the grenade launcher though.

There's still lots of problems. Half of the servers in the server browser can't be connected to. Most friend requests can't be accepted/sent. It's rarely possible to join a friend's server. The "ping display" is never correct.

As for the multiplayer; It's great, but recon players stink. Conquest isn't much fun, but I can play rush for hours without growing tired.

I'm the opposite. I love Conquest but dislike Rush. It's like TF2. I hate playing offense on a push map with a shitty team.

This game mode should be played with friends. Too often there's 20 recons on the other side of the street just sniping while the demolition is being disarmed.

The game is really nice to play squad with friends, too bad it rarely works because of all the problems.

My only gripe at the moment is people who've earnt the 40mm. They fire it off, chuck down a resupply and fire another salvo off. Fucking annoying.

Snipers on the other hand; pussies. Most of them are shit. Sneak up to their position, hose it down (five in one place! Five! Cretins!) and nick a decent rifle. Wait. Kill them all again. Move positions. Kill them all yet again.

They usually change to assault, rape you, and carry on with that class.

And I get a lot of points :-D

The autobalance system seems completely broken on some servers. As soon as one team starts leading, everyone just switches over to that team. For some reason the autobalance doesn't kick in, if it exists at all.

Ive noticed the lack of autobalance. Im also disappointed that my friends list vanished. I wish they would also limit how many of each class are allowed. The 40mm grenades indeed get annoying, I also hate the issue where they vanish or something after fired.

Recon is the best class. It takes a lot more skill than just spraying around with medic or assault. Engineers always spam rockets, same with assault class and nade laucher.

Bullets are affected by gravity and velocity, you have to calculate where the bullet is going to hit with sniper rifles. So stop whining and don't stand still if you don't want to get hit

I wouldn't say aiming is that much of a challenge for recons, once you get the feeling of it (after the first hours) you're fine. It doesn't matter how hard a class is to play by itself, only thing that matters is how people combine it with team work. Recons rarely add anything to the team. They don't add pressure except for occasional mortar strikes and sniping, even with 5-6 snipers being stationed at a high point I rarely see them spot anyone.

Most recons are too busy trying to snipe random people instead of helping the assault players by spotting and support fire, and they certainly never help defuse/bomb/hold any points. Recon does have potential as a class, but the players seem to have a more egoshooter mindset. They also seem to forget they have sensors and C4.

In most matches there's a team of recons on each side having their own battle with each other while the rest of us tries to play the game.

Whether recon takes more skill than medic or engineer doesn't matter, because obviously an extremely small portion of the players know how to use it. Medic and engineer support is ten times more valuable than a good recon aimer.

On the beta I did find "getting the feel for it" difficult with sniping, since if you miss you don't know by how much and in what direction, and if you hit you can't really see where on their body except to know if you missed the head. (Assuming all headshots kill.) And even then it varies with different guns, too...

Does the final have some sort of offline "shooting range"? Because that would be great.
