That was the point of my initial post. It's not that the game is awful, I would just like to see them open things up a bit for server operators and hobby developers. Over the years of watching games that have mod tools and resources they tend to do a little better, and I have seen stellar work come from the community.

I'm the opposite. I love Conquest but dislike Rush. It's like TF2. I hate playing offense on a push map with a shitty team.

I completely agree. Most of the rush games I've played have annoyed the hell out of me, purely because of terrible teams - one team is completely incompetent, the other one focuses on things like spawn killing or camping the bomb sites with MGs.

Conquest mode is great, perhaps the most enjoyable experience you can have online. I just hope they add more maps to that mode

It would be good if they added some other game modes to BC2. Something like UT's Assault mode would be great, CTF or COOP could be good too.
