That trailer could have been massively improved with a "STRENGTH MAXIMUM" at the end.

Finally! The cry engine in a non-tropical island scenario.

That city skyline looks fantastic, cant wait to try that.

I hope the next video has the nanosuit dude actually fighting. I wonder if that was Nomad in the trailer.

The game looks fuckin incredible. MASSIVE improvement on the environment; looks way less sandboxy.

I'm interested.

I don't get why the nanosuit guy just stood there letting the aliens kill the platoon. He seemed to know it's going to happen.

I hope this Crysis game actually gives us a true open area. Like the entire city to explore and also missions that you can do in any order.

First game was still linear as fuck.

This, I'll hold off until we know.

I actually liked the linearity of Crysis. It was like a mix, where you could go in any direction you wanted to, but you would still be moving forward. I don't think having a free-roam sort of gameplay where you accept missions would be better. Crysis always seemed more like a cinematic linear FPS game than a sandbox/rpg FPS game.

I remember talk about the first Crysis being impossible to develop for consoles. This game supposedly have lower system requirements and is intended to surpass the original graphically. I can't wait to see the toolset. I just hope this game will do something with the graphic quality and not just invest them in a few moments. God of War 3 reminded me how little the resolution of your textures matters compared to how you use it and that game was by far more visually impressive than any other game I've played.

As for the actual game; I didn't find any of the earlier games very memorable. Story felt generic and it didn't feel like the game did anything genuinely interesting with the large-scale environments. I never found any use for the suit outside of its basic mechanics and the game never took time to educate me either. The game is probably one of the most overrated titles ever released. It's not bad, it's just not that good.

Go to Nanosuit 2

Read that

Lots of potential for plot twists, particulary the bit about "extended use can result in permanent metabolic damage"

They make it sound like the suit's user becomes a god damn robot rather than an actual super human. I hope they don't try and convey every detail of the suit in the character and in turn ruin the character.
