Does anyone have a left over HL2?

Hi there! I just bought a new laptop. That means I have two computer. So I came upp with the brilliant idea that I can create a mod for HL2 and try it out on both computers at the same time (multiplayer). The only problem is that i dont wanna buy HL2 again -.- and since alot of ppl has HL2 copies just lying around I thought i would ask if i could have one

I have an extra HL2 but no way to buy L4D2. I realize that money-wise you'll be at a loss but this sounds like the only way for me to get L4D2...

Him buying L4D2 and trading with you completely defeats the purpose of what he wants. He wants a free version of HL2 which is fairly reasonable since a lot of us were left with extra versions when we bought the OB. It's not like we all have/had extra versions of L4D2 lying around though.
