Counter-Strike: Source Beta

So what do you guys think about the upcoming Counter-Strike: Source Beta?
They're currently allowing public testing(certain amount of people though) and I managed to get my hands on hold of it.
Haven't played it yet though, been busy with school and mapping.

But for those who have played it, what do you think about it? Pros/Cons?
Those who haven't, what's your opinion on it?

I've read it's going to look similar to TF2 and the major difference is the Scoreboard.
I also heard the textures look more like TF2, I dislike that. Original CSS is more realistic than TF2 textures... (In my opinion)
I wonder how Mods/Scripts/Maps will be transfer-friendly when this new CSS is released...
