Did anyone else notice this game on sale on Steam? I played the demo and thought it was rather good and now I saw it was on sale, bloody damn cheap too! Definitely worth the money, so has anyone else played it yet?

It's like a rip off from the Diablo games, both of them, but I don't consider that very bad since I loved them and played them frequently. The graphics are pretty cool, nothing special but none the less interesting.

It's a dungeon crawler game just like Diablo, you start in a town and work your way down in dungeons, gain loot and levels as well as fame. From what I've read this game was made by some people who worked on both Diablo games so there's no surprise both gameplay and music is extremely similar.

Repetitive, yes, but I think the change of gear and character development makes it more interesting. I don't think I've gotten any overpowered enchantments yet, playing as Vanquisher and I think I'm currently at lvl 20 or something. However I got a rifle with the fastest attack speed which is pretty damn awesome.

It was enjoyable for about 20 minutes. It just ended up making me play Diablo 2 instead.

TL made a very, very polished impression to me, and that was already when I played it looong ago before they added this and that feature with patches. I consider it a full success.

I'm not much of a gamer. Never played Diablo, but I love this game. I got so pissed of with disenchants though that I ended up using cheats. Not until after playing till the 'repetitive' point though.

It's as repetitive as Diablo 2, there's change of scenery and enemies, you gain new stuff such as skills and equipment.

For me, it was about floor 3, but that still hasn't kept me from being interested in the game.

Well, the whole game is pretty much a loop of:

Kill Stuff
Upgrade
Descend

Of course there is a little bit of story line, and there are some guys that'll send you on artifact hunts. Killing stuff and getting upgrades can also be pretty exciting actually. So while the whole thing is essentially repetition, it's not necessarily a bad thing.

And there are even evil guys with big turrets somewhere in the deep, and lots of ... good-looking dragons!
