Yeah, just make your music in MP3 or WAV format, then put in

Steam/steamapps/username/gameyouwantmusicin/sounds/music

Please note the you may need to create the last two folders. Also note that if it is in MP3 format, you won't be able to preview it in Hammer but you will hear it ingame.

So others can hear your music in the final map, use PackBSP.

You can play them using ambient_generics or with a logic_choreographed_scene. (ambient_generic is alot easier, with the logic_choreographed_scene you have to use Faceposer)

Ok thanks, I put it in, and it showed up in hammer, but when I went to play my map, the music didn't play. I just changed the Start Volume to 10 just now, Hopefully it will work

Oh man your a newbie! :D Anyway, you make a block textured with the trigger texture. Then right click on it and select 'Tie to Entity'. Then a new window will appear, in that window there will be a drop down menu. Scroll through it until you find 'Trigger_once'. Select it and click Apply. Now go into the outputs tab of that window and click New. There will be a few boxes to fill out, do them as the following:
OnTrigger/ music1 (or what ever your sound entity is called)/ PlaySound/ 0.00/ (leave this box blank)
Hope that isn't too complex for ya! :)

Oh my gosh thanks so much!!!!! Now just one more question that Isn't about music, How do you make it so if you die you respawn immediatly? (Sorry for bad spelling)

Also is "Tie To Entity" the same s "Ctrl + t?"

Uh well what is this map for? If it's CSS, you need a server with the Death Match plugin installed.

If it's for HL2DM, I believe there's a console command called "mp_forceplayerrespawn" that makes it so players will respawn in like 2 or 3 seconds after dying. You just set it to 1 and it's enabled. Otherwise a player can just sit there with the camera looking at their corpse and not spawn unless they click their mouse.
