And the only graphics option is hardcore, gamer, and advanced (I have no idea which one is the highest).
And the main screen says "press start to play".
And theres a big input delay wether vsync is off or not.
And Only 3 suit powers.

Awful awful console port. Stay away.

Overall no FPS issues or sound issues for me (4GB Ram, Intel Q6600, GeForce 460GTX, Windows 7 64-bit).
But the game's multiplayer is pretty much like Call of Duty on steroids.

Call of Duty Features you can see in Crysis 2:
  • Final killcam
  • Killcam
  • Hitmarkers
  • Custom Classes and (lvl5 to make you're own class)
  • 3 perks with challenges
  • Crash Site gamemode = headquarters
  • Dog tags you collect from bodies on the ground (bc2)
  • Level ups
  • Buy upgradeables like in Black Ops for points

Despite it's very much like Call of Duty I like it and will prob. end up buying it after I played the demo some more..Just reached rank 5 which means that I can now make my own class (lol).

To me its a pretty fun demo. But really limited. I only look forward to single player any how. I hope they paid more attention to the single player. Sadly not. The game does look great though. I wish we could see the 3d options. And its sad that they had to downgrade graphics. Get it through your head that PC is dominate crytek. We dont want ports.

EDIT..

This is pretty much a port. Notice how it says press Start to begin? wtf, i dont even have a start key. Besides, Demos are supposed to make us want to buy the software not steer us away from it. I know many who have canceled pre-orders. I'm glad i haven't bought this. I'll wait 3 years when its 5 bucks on steam. Total disappointment, they wont even include tools until a "patch" same with dx10 and 11. All included in a later release "patch" Worthless game. :smt021

Tried to play it, told me to make an account (mildly annoyed), make account, name's taken (more annoyed), new name, email's taken (how/why and really annoyed), click lost password to check what account was using my email, lost account page is down for hours (INCREDIBLY ANNOYED).

Lost a sale, don't even really want to pirate it from what I've heard about the changes.

I had the same problem when I tried to use my usual e-mail, which I have never used for anything Crysis. I ended up using my school e-mail and it worked.

Is it possible that someone has hacks for this game already? I don't know if I am paranoid but this one guy kept shooting at me through walls and his crosshairs would fly from one direction right to me before I ran from behind a wall.

It runs surprisingly well on my computer but I don't think I will buy it, pretty much like all the other shooters out there already.

Took me a few games to realize that Pier 17 is an actual place and that I've been there. Looks VERY close to the actual place (minus the destruction of course ;))

You've got to be kidding. Can this really run on my 3,5 year old pc? xD

Well then it will run without problem on my new one which will have the new Sandy Bridge i7 2600K and Geforce GTX480 and some other funny toys :D

I've got the demo and I must say I'm impressed so far.

It seems to run better than the original crysis, but I think it may be SLIGHTLY downgraded visually and obviously well optimized.

In saying that though, I was never too keen on crysis 2, but after playing the multiplayer demo I'm starting to change my mind! Very fun!! Obviously used a few features used in Call of Duty's multiplayers but what's wrong with that? They themselves are good games too.

Definitely worth looking into.

Yeah, I've tried it out a bit, and I'm enjoying myself. It takes a lot of the good features of the CoD MP infrastructure, but it seems designed more to allow you to unlock things that are going to be useful to your style of play. I much prefer that to CoD's method of having a certain level unlock a certain gun/piece of equipment.

There were a couple of problems with lag, where an enemy killed me from around a corner on my screen, but on theirs they were right in front of me, but I imagine that'll get sorted out pretty swiftly.

Just for making it clear for some guys, the demo is only in dx 9. Dx 10 and 11 patch will become avaible sometime down the road.
This made me really angry and confused, but I still think I gonna buy the game. A demo is only a demo and this one kept me from downloading a pirate copy of it later.

Why would they limit the demo to DX9? Isn't the purpose of a demo to get more sales?

I have no-idea but did not some aliens vs predator the same just a few mounths back? Though it feels veird when the devs are known to push the graphical limits pretty far.
One theory I got is that while the game is incredible looking in dx 9, the reaction of the full game with dx 10 and 11 will be like an... orgazm :)
