It does only go by default price though. I bought many of my games on sale, and the games that I got from humble bundles I only paid $5 for all of them. I think my steam account is worth just over 1k now according to steam calculator, but I really didn't pay that much total.

Yeah I pretty much only buy games on sale.

Only difference is I've only payed full price for about 6 games, 3 x football manager, half-life 2 etc., portal, COD4, rest are all from bundles or massively discounted.

I've got 101 games in my steam library, but I have like 10 or so games from GOG that don't show up there, and then I suppose I could count the few gamecube games I have that I play on the wii... So, not a whole ton, but one of my friends on steam has 752 games, all of which were honestly obtained. And quite frankly, that just blows my mind.
