Well you can tell Lee he's right, without him around there was no-ones mum left to insult, except Glenn's but then he left too...and yeah I know Aaron, good guy :)

Aaaanyway, de-railing this thread somewhat! Keep us posted with any news/trailers etc, will be interested to see how this one turns out!

So I've stayed away from mostly posting about Forza Horizon here, apart from the occasional snippet in the randomthread, mainly due to it only being an exclusive Xbox 360 game.

But! The reviews are finally in, and it's done pretty darn well. I am happy to announce the first finished game I worked on has been well received! Yay!

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360 ... ic-reviews
We have one derpy review from the verge which has dragged the metacritic down, probably below a 90 average, but I'm not so bothered.

Someone lovingly compiled a full list of reviews on the Forza forum, so check em out if you're interested :)

If you have a 360 you can download the demo right now (though it is quite large).
The game comes out October 23rd & 26th, for US and Europe respectively.

I'll leave you with the launch trailer. Cheers guys & gals.

Good stuff Hollow, congrats on the reviews! Ignore the negative one, there's usually one ;-)

I played the demo and really enjoyed it, I'm not actually a big fan of the Forza series - it's a bit sterile for my taste and I prefer arcade racers but you guys seem to have taken Forza, Dirt and PGR and kinda blended it all together and it's a lot more accessible and enjoyable than regular Forza. I plan on getting the full game but you lot chose a busy release window! Assassins Creed and NFS next week, then Black Ops means I'm gonna have to wait a while. Good job all round though :)

Cheers man! Appreciate it. I can't agree with you more in terms of the direction that FM has kept up until now, which as most sim games are, are presented in a very sterile manner. That's not to say it isn't great for it's target demographic, but I could imagine that it seems pretty unapproachable if you aren't a fan of the series. It's a more accessible spin-off for sure, fairly decent music and taking the good bits from a lot of different racing games/studios!

Yeah there was direct competition with NFS which is out next week and all the other big hitters throughout November :) I'm glad the reviews are mostly great, feels like the hard work was worth it!
