Wrong Lake?
Posted: Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:20 pmI've been playing CS:GO a lot recently and have been racking up the achievements. One of them stopped me in my tracks because something seemed off about it.
Here is the achievement in question...
As I took a closer look at it, I realized that I recognized the map image in the background. And no, this is not from the Lake map found in CS:GO. This was from my map cs_crystal_lake that I made a couple years ago.

It is hard to tell at first glance. Here is a screen capture of the same area used in the icon:
I am flattered that they used an image from my map but why didn't they just pull an image from the actual map???
Was it the mistake of some Valve or Hidden Path intern that was tasked with making icons for the achievements?
