Where did you buy the Disc? Go there and talk to them as well. If you still have a reciet for the purchase you should have no problems. An individual will be given the runaround but if they contact Microsoft they will get results faster... That is if you got it at a halfway decent store.

i dont not pirate OS'es for that. I don't pirate OS'es because i think the creators of which, Microsoft, really earned the price i'm paying for it. (that is the OEM version, lol). I would do the same for Office, except im still using '97 ...

MELVIn, the only (legal) recourse for you is to use your powers of persuasion on the MS support guys and give them no peace until they give you a new key.

Alternatively, if all that doesn't work, I'll can PM you a key that will work.

Autodesk is basically fine with it unless your going to sell it. One way or another, in a couple years, if you actually go into modeling they'l get your money be it from your company or your own pocket
