how to properly uninstall?

how to properly uninstall?

if good times go bad and a game install fubared on me, how do i properly uninstall without uninstall.exe and not showing up in my software list? tried a system recovery to before the install but it just stays there?

umm, shift-delete the folder ?

yes? dunno never heard about that... what does the shift suppose to do? will it delete all related files? registry stuff ect...

delete will move all your files to the recycle bin. shift-delete just deletes it. it doesn't do anything to your registry, but since you reverted to a point before you installed it, that's just what you want.

Even if you didnt system recover, there isnt much else to do without the uninstaller.

Unless offcourse you want to manually plow through your registry and delete all related entrys...

in that case, maybe one of those registry cleaners can help, but I'd be careful with that.

hmm okai thx guys, I am planning to reinstall after i removed this install, so will that also sorta clean/replace the registry entries?
