So after 5 years I finally got a new computer, a million times faster, has Windows 7 and all that good stuff. However, now I'm worried about CPU temperatures. A wire appeared to have gotten in the way of the CPU fan at first, the temps idled out at 73°C. I popped open the case and did some more housecleaning. My CPU core temps now idle at 35°C. They seem to jump up to like 45-49°C when a process uses 90% CPU. I may sound like a n00blet, but this is my first PC build and I'm not sure of this stuff. Is this normal behavior? The processor is a Wolfdale E6300 Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.80GHz. Any help is greatly appreciated.
