Ok a buddy of mine just bought a new computer, when he tried to install source sdk, he opend up hammer but all his props turned into yellow circles with a guy in it! he tried refreshing his content reset game configs .. bur still doesn't work.
Any ideas ?

First off you have to play the games so it gets the files so load up EP2 if he's mapping for that or HL2 etc and then refresh SDK and load Hammer.

I'm guessing the FGD file is missing. Check options.
