K this is getty pretty frustrating.
I've tried everything. I re-installed the drivers for the X-Fi. No luck.
I made sure that it was the default audio playback device. No luck.
Did the same thing for my onboard soundcard. No luck.
Used CCleaner to remove every last trace of logitech drivers in my registry. No luck.
I re-installed the logitech webcam drivers and then uninstalled them. No luck.
I'm close to just wanting to format my entire drive and reinstall windows to get this to work again, unless someone has a better idea.
EDIT: Well, after getting really mad and going apeshit my entire machine, I finally got it to work.
I removed the X-Fi card, and uninstalled every driver and software related.
I made sure that every single trace of anything logitech related was removed.
I reset everything audio related to default (onboard soundcard)
I disabled the onboard soundcard.
I re-installed the X-Fi and downloaded latest drivers.
I changed the default audio playback device to the X-Fi.
and BOOM. Back in business.
Durring all this madness I googled around, and saw that a LOT of people had the same issue. Most of them managed to fix it by simply uninstalling their webcam drivers through "add/remove hardware" in control panel.
So take this as a warning, if you decide to try and install a webcam. And if you do and you get the same problem, I hope you manage to fix it the way I did (which is probably the worst case scenario in this instance)
