Yes, that's right people! After smacking my laptop in fury during an extremely long update, I just got a cooked HDD!

CRCdisk has failed entirely, and I'm having to shell out for a new HDD and a recovery fee!

And yes, I am happy, because my mate's going to fix it!

But let this be a lesson to you all; no matter how fucking slow iTunes updates, hitting it will make the update slower. Permanently.

I did that once. Ended up running DOS5 from a cd for a week, I think it was. It's still missing the HDD.
