Crytek has finished and relased its 3rd generation of the CryEngine. Man, i hope there will be greater games than one can ever imagine...

Looks damn amazing. I wonder how much this fucker costs to license.

Probably a lot... seriously, sell some organs, some children, take out a mortgage, get different loans.. steal from charity- expensive.

Was CryEngine 2 ever licensed for developers? Wikipedia says a few third parties have it, but they're games I've never even heard of. Good to see them putting effort into promoting this new engine for others to use. Maybe it'll take over from UE3...

I have to say your not the only one of thinking of using it but is it free like the new UDK? No dout it looks amazing guess will have to wait and see.

Lol, no. There will be a mod SDK following Crysis 2 I believe, but the full engine itself will not be free like UE3 is.
