PC troubles

Postby cz_squishy on Sat Nov 28, 2009 7:15 am

So basically every time I open something that has to due with the internet (or every 5 minutes), AVG pops up saying that I have multiple viruses and I can't seem to get rid of them. The question is should I completely wipe my hard drive, which I've done before to get rid of vista, or should I find another solution to this problem? And yes, I have made a back up of all my important files. I would really like your input before I take further action.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Firefox crashes 50% of the time which is NOT normal :?

The decision is up to you. If you have everything backed up and don't mind doing the whole fresh install thing then go for it. However if you would like to give cleaning a try there is a website I've been following and posting on for years now and either one of them or myself would be glad to give you some help.

I completely reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled my drivers (~6 hrs) and now my computer runs like it's brand new! Now all I have to do is reinstall all of my games...
