Unfortunately our glass ball is out of order so you are going to have to describe how you are starting this app that doesnt work.

Could you be more specific? What are you clicking on and what error message do you get? What are "all my bsp program"?

Did you download Java? Go to http://www.java.com.

Well, for PakRat at least, you don't run the .bat file. There SHOULD be another executable called 'pakrat.jar'.

2 Things:

1) Are you able to open properties and access a "compatibility" tab? Not sure if you can do this with Java based apps, but if you can try changing it to windows xp or vista and then running, maybe it will work.

2) Pakrat, from what I've heard, is not compatible yet with windows 7. There's several other alternatives that may work, but the best way to do it is to use valve's available, but slightly more complicated to use, tool, which may or may not also work on windows 7.

I think that's cause there is a space in the adress (Program<space>Files).

Try setting up a new directory like C:\mystuff and see if it works.
