Windows 7 was the best ever operating system until I realised it's fucked up my graphics card settings. Now every source game is weirdly blurry and I can't use OpenGL rendering on old games. Bollocks.

What graphics card you running?
There are opengl drivers for nvidia cards which supposedly which fix older opengl applications, But there is nothing for ATI. I don't know if the nvidia drivers were for win7 though. I got this program where overlayed text is not rendered as it runs in opengl, but other users of win7 don't have the issue but are using nvidia.

Intel Intergrated; Mobile Intel GMA X3100. Yes, you have permission to scream or throw yourself from a tall building in disgust, but that's what I'm using.

Finished screaming. Perhaps because it's the best operating system ever, it felt obliged to launch an assault on the Kinder egg toy you're using for a graphics card.

I'm using Win7 and nVidia and I run all kinds of games - from goldsrc to TF2 - flawlessly. I just downloaded the drivers and boom, sawce games. ^^

Yeah I have to say, it is one thing to copy your steam folder and reinstall the same OS and move the file to the new build
but doing so on a new OS from an older OS is bound to cause problems. It sucks to have to reinstall everything but looks like that would be best.

I've just started using Windows 7 from today on my new Dell Studio....gotta say, it works like a dream...
no problems at all, just testing out bioshock now! For me this is a big step up from XP which has retired into the grave on my desktop, which i will probably set fire to....
