Record or Extract Soundboard

Postby elemenz on Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:42 pm

The soundboard i want can't be saved so i have to record it.
Looked for software and tried three different ones, nothing works.
Don't have a mic.

I MUST have these sounds from this soundboard!!

Anyone know a 100% certain relatively easy way to record them without a mic?

Tried audacity, but got no specific detailed tutorial on how to get it to work.
It just says *press record, it records anything your pc is playing, no mic needed* - well it DIDN'T work.

My guess is that there's a setting somewhere in Audacity where you choose what it should record.

Try going into your sound options in the control panel and enabling stereo mix. If it then doesnt work (and you're in vista) then you too have got a crap soundcard whose stereomix functionality has been intentionally broken.

Found alternative osurces for the sounds...

Anyone know how to randomize HLSS sounds being played ?
Like make 20 binds and 1 play key, to roll 1 random bind from the pool every time you hit it ?

You posted a thread asking for help on obtaining sounds so you could mic spam in a game?

...Or am I mistaken?
