Putting more ram in it isn't going to make it faster, it's mainly the ram speed and just the core speed of the gpu which determines the overall performance of a videocard. I've 12GB of ram for my windows, but when i do normal stuff I only use 4-5GB max, so the other GB's are fun to stare at, but they do anything; same goes for the videocard. When you have like a triple monitor setup, with 3d, than those GB's count.

You need to make 5-7GB RamDisk. Then you got a virtual drive that has insane read/write speed and cleans it's self out every reboot.
