Problems entering Steam in Offline Mode

Hi friends,
just fix my problems with the offline mode in Steam.
After the last update I was not able to enter the offline mode.

Fix:
Enter Steam in ONLINE Mode. If you can't enter online ->

1 Open Steam->"Settings"
On the bottom you will find "Don't save account credentials on this computer"
Must be checked OFF.
2 Check it ON and then OFF.

3 Steam -> Change user
4 Logout
5 Login typing your account name with lowercase letters, password is required as usual.

6 Steam-> Restart in Offline Mode

Offline works fine for me. As long as it saves account credentials, and that the last time I used Steam I right click -> exited it, it's fine.

I used to just go to Start -> Shutdown when finished with my PC, and still have Steam running. But unless I exit Steam then shutdown I can't go into offline mode. Weird :>

I wish Steam Chat was a separate application... as then I would keep Steam in Offline Mode indefinitely. Games lunch faster, close faster and Steam locks up less.
