Video Card Question

I got two video cards, and I got them both for free.

GeForce 6200 OC

Raedeon 9600 XT


Which is better? I have no idea what they have or anything but i think the OC is a 256.

http://www.google.com type 6200OC reviews, read, then type radeon 9600xt reviews. compare.

6200 has shader model 3.0 while 9600 doesn't is all I could really tell you. Take ten minutes to look and you'll find out.

I would use the 6200OC even if the ATI card is better but that is just me.

according to the 3dmark scores of both cards the r9600 xt is faster than the 6200 OC (even with a much slower CPU the 9600 has 200 3d3 points more)

as far as i can see the pixel shader is the only downside of the 9600xt, and since 3.0 is hardly used atm, id say go for the ati

But,, I'm asking because im not too "into" my computers insides. So I really have no clue which is better.

Sell them and buy a 6600GT Agp they are around 130 $

Yeah just sell them both and buy a better one, 6800Ultra isn't that expensive anymore right now. Same thing with the X800, just get the cheaper one since it was only a 5FPS difference on most games .

Yeah, I'd say sell 'em both and get a nice newer gforce card. I'm an nvidia fan. XD I have a gforce 6600 at the moment. It's a good card.
