Who needs diverse culture? What's it's practical use?
like sorrow said, plus people do things differently all over the world and well I'm sure not everyone would live to work like North American's do.
When my father was in greece a greek tavern owner asked him a question.
"What's the real difference between Canadians (North Americans in general) and Greeks?"
His answer was "You live to work where we work to live, You live to work and have nice expensive things. We work to live, we work just enough to have food on our tables and a roof over our heads"
And Greeks have funny business hours aswell. Their stores are open in the mornings for a few hours, then they close for family and lunch time, then open back up around 2 or 3 o'clock till about 6 or 7. Them being closed for only a few hours spares them from a little grief at the expense of their business. They could have made a couple hundered bucks in that time but they just don't seem to give a shit about it, where in North America we tend to fret over every penny. If we were all the same it would suck, plus who says it would be a good thing? North American standards truely suck, our technology is mediocre at best and the quality of products suffer greatly because no one here wants to spend the money. Everyone seems to want everything for cheap and you do sacrafice something when you want it that way, usually quality.
If the whole world was the same it would suck shit, there'd probably be corruption everywhere as if it isn't everywhere now.
Earth sucks
