deathprodigy gave a perfect example of why its the magic age

you awesome youngers are the exception that proves the rule. when i was like 14 or so and got on roger wilco with my clannies i would say things like 'i eat glue', of course that was pre-match

I'm 16, and I've been attempting to map for 3 years. I mostly have older friends at school and such, people my age annoy me. In my top 8 on myspace, I have two people my age, and one younger. All others are older.
My favorite HL2 mod is Garry's Mod, but I never play online because I can't stand the people.

And I completly own my math class at TI-BASIC. 8)

No offence, but the CS 1.6 rating is M15+.
I have too many times run into people online that are below 13 and playing cs 1.6. You shouldn't do that, it'll fuck you up. You need to enjoy your young life.

I played cs 1.6 before I was 15 but nowhere nearly as much. Maybe once every couple of months at a place with lan with a couple of friends, not online.

I know that there are individuals that grow up faster than others intellectually, but the majority are really slow in the head when it comes down to tactical games.

P.S there's a 13 year old in my clan and none of us like him lol

Oh and btw I started mapping at the age of 9 for Red Alert 2, made about 5 maps for it just for skirmish, which had awesome gameplay :D.

Then at around 10 I moved to warcraft 3 mapping, made only one map (Valley of Death- 4player) and the site that hosted it went down and I uninstalled wc3 a couple of months before it went down so that was lost forever.. Shame because it was very fun.

Then I moved to the hl1 engine and made a cs 1.6 map, de_recon. The site that hosted it went down but I still have it and I really should get around to uploading it to fpsbanana. I'll do it sometime today.

Then I moved on to hl2 mapping and started my own mod Vital Tactics and that failed because I started to map when I started it. Anyway I started about 20 maps since then for dys, hl2, css etc and about only 3 of them were at final stages but only one made it through, a 3 day project, surf_pacific. Now I'm putting my experience to use by developing maps for Dark Source and making a surf map which looks like secks.

Story of my life.

i love it when people do that to quotes, makes me giggle-laugh

your the first person ive seen take ratings seriously, though here in the us its17 (maybe 18 ) and our congress actually had hearings on whether or not to ban violent video games so thats prolly why.

also i didnt play anything but sierra adventures till i was 15. oh quest for glory how i miss thee frnchise
