But, seriously, ever since WW2 weve had this "police of the world" thing going on, and ever since the cold war weve had this "nobody else is allowed nukes" thing going on. Its all hypocritical bullshit. I wouldnt mind us trying to dissuade other contries from starting nuclear programs, if we didnt have the largest stockpile of said weapons in the world.

I see it as: "Only we're allowed to have a gun, everyone else must fight with their fists, anyone found buying or reaching for a gun will be shot, by us."

I blame that on playing too much C&C Tiberian sun. The ion cannon was the long distance-charge-up-uberpown. It was like a cannon that shot a huge blue beam at a satellite that reflects it onto a target.
