They're rather good for propelling lumps of lead into people with the object to kill/main someone.

i see sites of guncrazeys, gun associations and the likes claiming crimes got lower since they had guns. Okay, we had this argument before, im sure crime will decrease when the efforts to kill get lower. sure... But thats not the argument. The argument was "Here are some of the Safest cities/states in the world", which is something you cant possibly get out of those sources.Mangopork wrote:zombie@computer wrote:Based on what source?Mangopork wrote:Here are some of the Safest cities/states in the world:

Glad you asked
Aside from the fact that I have lived near Kennesaw GA, In Texas, Visited New Hampshire & Boston, and nary a gunshot nor CCTV camera nor robbery nor cry for help can be found there, here you go...
Rather than posting an endless series of links, simple google links will suffice. Its almost entirely unanimous, just read the sources provided:
Kennessaw: Gun Laws Proven Success
x
Boston: Low Crime rate and its attributes
x
New Hampshire Violent Crime Rate Third LOWEST in the Country:
x
Texas violent crime rate
x
Texas Gun Laws: Mixed Bag
x
(Edit: Seems I was admittedly somewhat wrong about this one. Texas USED to have a very low crime rate back when I lived there but apparently things have changed. However, further examination notes high violent crime rate due to a much wider variety of factors including, not just gun control laws, so there are other things at work here. Still, in support of my original argument, you will notice that there has been a lot of back-and-forth legal motions in regards to gun ownership in Texas, which could explain a lot. While this scenario does not debunk my original arguments, it's worth looking into. Examine carefully for yourself).
I just want freedom.....
