The gist? People on the internet are stupid. They are more likely to believe a whackjob theory than the basic, simple truth.

The arguments presented in this video are so far removed from logical thought processes that it boggles the mind. The whole world is not a conspiracy. I'm sorry. Religion is not a conspiracy, banks are not a conspiracy, 9/11 was not a conspiracy, Hell, even the council of Nicea, as corrupt and flawed as it was, introducing almost all of the overtly pagan references in christianity (such as december 25th, which wasn't considered by anyone to be the birth of christ), wasn't a conspiracy. There are some people who seek to control others and there are some that have succeeded in many different ways. To assert that it has all been a long, protracted arraignment is just ludicrous.

I honestly recommend that anyone that believes this bullocks to stop for a second, take a deep breath and ask yourself what's so lacking in your life that you are willing to forsake intellectual thought for pseudo-intellectual garbage.

I understand where you're coming from, completely.
but still everybody wants money and banks remain fucking evil.
as does religion.

but we don't need a youtube video to prove that.

I don't know, I like both banks and religion.

Banks let me keep my money safe while earning interest on it, and it is because of banks that I'll be able to buy a house in the near future. Can you imagine having to collect $200,000 under your mattress and paying it all up front? Jeepers. God bless loans. If some idiots can't seem to realize that they need to properly manage their money, well, I don't really know what to say to them.

Religions give people peace and harmony, depending on how insane the church is. Yeah, there's some nutcases that preach some crazy crap, but that's not limited to religion and people will go off on their benders anyways.

But hey, that's just me. Maybe I'm just a tool, but I can live with that.

:)

do realise that "customer care" and "cheap deals" are instruments for more profit, as is with most companies.
I find that offensive, and I'm not saying I don't like banks, they're pretty useful.
but that the top brass walks away with an 80 million parting gift after resignation is ridiculous.

Nope I totally agree with you. I think this is all a bit farfetched and people trying to draw conclusions from fallacious points.

Just watched this movie. Was very cool. I think a lot of it could be true, but I'm not sure if I should care as long as I'm happy, because it would probably ruin my being happy.

btw, a lot of people complain about the sources... didn't anyone notice the source listing at the end of the movie?

I think it's very very informative. What to believe is up to the individual though, it is a conspiracy movie nonetheless.
Apparently it seems to have all the facts, but they indeed twist it to make it sound like it was planned all along. Religion as a system of controlling people etc. Sounds rediculous, but you could really say that it's one of its functions. It does categorise people, keep them in ranks. People living by a code. Control the code, and you control the people... Nothing's wrong with religion, as long as it doesn't hurt or dictate anyone - which it evidently has for centuries. Suppose you take the good with the bad.

Shitty world we live in, eh?

Well, religion doesn't have much, or any, control up here in scandinavia. Surely you must've been enjoying the lack of religion just as much as me and my fellow countrymen?

Its ideas about world government, the IRS, the Central Bank, and fascism are solid.

So are its ideas about the mass media.

However, its attempts to debunk christianity are absolutely laughable. It uses a flaw in the ENGLISH language to dispute the trinity, when the bible was written in ANCIENT GREEK AND HEBREW.

So that argument holds no water.

I'm not necessarily pro-religion, but I will absolutely call out a faulty argument when I see it, no matter who is promoting it.

The rest of the film is counter-intelligent hogwash spun for the sake of fear.

Final conclusions are irrational.

Let me tell you something: In a world where any average person can band together with a group of people on the internet and take down a corporation in a matter of days by sheer will and grassroots guerilla tactics alone, Do not listen to anyone who tells you that the world is in any way doomed.

YOU, and indeed all of us together, can make just about anything happen if we're willing to just get up and actually DO IT.

That's the final word, always and forever. So never be afraid.
Strangely Delicious.

Zeitgeist 2 is out! http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

This time around their critical and colourful eyes are set upon the monetary system of society. It's long and doesn't hold much entertainment value, but it's very informative - almost epiphanic. This time they're more constructive in their message rather than anarchistic.

A good watch for those interested.

Mango, greek came quite a bit after Hebrew :( . It would have been written in a semetic or phoenician language, along with hebrew.

Apparently that 9/11 thing where some people say there were bombs on the building because it's impossible for an airplane to destroy such thing is wrong, I read somewhere that several supports broke and the fire sort of heated up and melted the supports underneath.

Anyway I only watched the first part since It's very late atm, but it got me thinking good.

Yes, only an idiot would believe that the towers were downed by anything beside the planes. Yes, the melting point of steel is beyond what airplane fuel burns at, however, there is a temperature halfway between where steel loses its strength and can easily buckle. (I thought we figured this one out years ago)

Stop looking for conspiracies everyone. Reality is just too boring for you.

Maybe you should read this to sate your appetities.
