It's already rated "M" what more do they want?! I mean it's the parents fault if their 9 old boy is playing this game. Same goes for GTA4.

I'd agree

If anything its tv we havta watch out for, media, "lying" to our children and the general public. 90% tv shows with, sexually related content, and nothing but violence. Hmmm lets see video games that you havta go to the store and pay for and must be old enough to buy, or tv, that you can just flip on when ever you feel like. you tell me which is more of the brainwasher. I play video games because, i like to get my aggression out. I get to escape for that little while into a fantasy world because i know what will happen if i attempt half the shit in real life. If you going to kill people and/or be the next guy on meganslaw.com over virtual world then you have serious mental problems and need to go to counseling.

to spice things up a bit more even (mass effect rules)
the ammount of (most) violent crimes have been severly dropping in most parts of the world where people can play games, it simply acts as a valve to reduce stress levels etc. Which some people just cant get thru their big fat heads

How did I miss this whole thing by a year?!?
Yeah, I own the game, except my pc doesn't have the preformance to run it, but I've read all about it, have both books that are based in the same story, and even dreamed about the day I buy a computer that'll run it.
I just hate it when someone has one idea about something goes head into a debate with a biased opinion (either because she truely believed it was all porn and/or objectifying women), and knocks it.
Buy the game. Play it (if you can run it...). And THEN give your opinion about it. I'm not saying there aren't any games that DO have some of these things in then (there are some REALLY crappy games out there), but you can't let the jury adjourn to decide someone's fate without first presenting all the evidence.
By the way, it's a beautiful game... from what I've seen. But I've played KOTOR (bioware made both) and Mass Effect is KOTOR times 5, plus improved tech. and a larger, more diverse story/plot... sorry for the bump...

lol i love Americans they always formulate an opinion before they have experienced anything. omg someone told me it has sex in it and its only rated mature not adult only! videogames are the devil!

none of them have played through it yet seem to think they have the expertise to comment coz they have read an opinionated review!

i mean one woman there instantly brought up the stereotypical view of all video gamers are adolescent young boys. when i expect the average age is probably 35 at least. i expect thats what it is on this site amiright?
and i know a fair chunk of gamers that are female. but that apparently isn't true if you are an opinionated American feminist.

very true

i like the comment about young men not being able to tell the difference between games and real life.
but thats not true everyone knows rl has way better graphics.and there's no re-spawning, yet. and there are 2 big games developers All4h softworks and G0dom games. All4h softworks has quite allot of hardcore fan-boys and some great titles but everyone knows G0dom games has better gameplay overall. i personally prefer the indi developers liek buddahtech. in Rl pickups are much harder to find i haven't even found one star or jiggly yet and i been playing rl fairly frequently for the last 18 years and my boss isn't even evil. she just sometimes looks slightly perturbed. also no matter how many people i talk to i never get any answers pop up on my hud i have to think of them myself which is sucky don't developers do anything these days
does anyone know how you find out what level you are in rl i think i'm like level 23 but i dunno how to find out. and what class has the best balance coz i might start a new character so that i'm better at skateboarding its either Asian Canadian or French but i cant make my mind up.

It's only funny till someone takes it seriously and that point has been crossed a long time ago.

Shit let this die already, this is quite old. FOX does a great job at starting up strange controversies, they do it about once a month people

agreed...
FOX should stop airing their "news" and go back to showing Family Guy.
Watching Fox News is like playing Russian roulette: You are never sure if this one's for real.

Only forgot one thing and I've said my piece:
The alien in question isn't a female, or a male, for that matter. It's a genderless alien race race that all look like women. So its objectifying women??? Might as well start crossing out angels from the bible and sirens from mythology... :|

Lol, considering I could just wander down to the newsagents and get The Sun and turn to page 3, I don't know what FOX are talking about XD
