I have to agree with the part about people being too ignorant about something but believing it to be the right thing simply because the television told them it was.

My roommate away at college brought over this girl who claimed (this is nothing against the candidate) that is Brock Obama was elected president (again this is meant as no offense to anyone) that blacks would stop robbing banks because they would have a better role model to look up to than Fifty Cent. It was almost painful to remain in the room next door after hearing this.

There should be a law to put people that stupid dowm and out of our misery.

One thing I did not understand is when he yells at "us" at the computer with enough bandwith to run a third-world country. I'm no genious, but is bandwith a power source? Another thing I don't really like is the fact that he's screaming, and everything he says is just the louder version of what we already know. Infact, since we already know 99.9999999999% of what he says, this video could be catogorized under "screamer" and used to frighten your grandmother.

And a good one too.

Although I could do with less swearing. The more he does it the less of an impact is has and it just seems like filler material a lot of the time.

Yes he is a comedian.

But since when did someone's occupation mean anything? Well, apart from politicians because they're all corrupt. I think it's good that people make videos like this because it's expressing their opinions about situations like the one America is in, and how blatantly obvious it is how we got to this condition. People need to know what the hell is really going on in this war. When american first invaded the middle east, everyone was like "Hell yeah, do it for revenge for 9/11!" and there was a huge percentage of the American population that supported the war effort, and now it has dropped drastically up to now, and it will continue to drop if more people finally understand how stupid the war really is.

I mean, my brother has been to Iraq, so he's had the first-hand experience of what its like and he tells me that there's some difference we're making. Other soldiers feel the exact opposite. It all runs down to how people feel about it. The truth in the government is virtually impossible to know unless one of the people involved tells us the truth themselves, which will never happen, guaranteed.

Be a cashier. Then you'll see how stupid some people can be. This doesn't even apply only for the US.

The first statement he made was so revolting I turned the video off.
Strangely Delicious.

I know that it's silly to complain about the ridiculous inaccuracies of comedians, but since this thread has been a circle jerk about how he's so right...well, I think circle jerks are gross, so I'll inject a little bit of logic into the equation.

The reason that the rest of the world hates America is exactly the same reasons that this comedian gives. Of course, all of these reasons are wrong.

The rest of the world PERCEIVES all Americans as being obese, red-neck, cheesburger consuming morans. They think that somehow America took a vote to invade Iraq because because of infringed liberties and that the bible belt is waging a war against all those non-christian.

I don't care to debate the merits of war of economic/social/environmental/whatever policies on this thread, so I'm not going to. However, you would have to be an idiot to think that the war in Iraq is anywhere half as simple as the reasons given here. The argument presented is that of a Strawman who gathers up the collected sayings of approximately zero people and presents them as some sort of facts. It's the equivalent of taking comedy show street interviews and telling someone they are the opinions of the politicians, or even the voting population.

The reason the rest of the world hates America is because the same idiots who would believe that Iraq was behind 9/11 if they were Americans, believe that America bombed Iraq because Bush had friends at Enron. People hate other people because they are ignorant monkeys that like to point at others and call them ignorant. Instead of trying understand the complexities of situations and of international politics and deciding that they agree or disagree with them, they decide to write off an entire segment of the population.

The fine line is that this comedian is partly right. The rest of the world DOES perceive America in the way that he has depicted it. The problem is that he himself is deluded by it. Instead of realizing that this is a completely ignorant perception he himself is prey to it. He talks about "the other half of America", but he is only partly right. He is the other half of the ignorant loud mouths that go on insane rants about things they obviously are ignorant about--so self confident in their delusions they are unable to realize when their satire fails them and becomes a satire of themselves anew.

Another thing i would like to bring up about the damn republican bashing is this damn country.

Half the people that complain about republicans dont know a Damn thing about Republicans.

like that video Sorrow showed us;

Saying republicans dont like small buisnesses is a absolutly rediculous statment its the exact opposite.

and alot of People talk about how our "republican" government has been failing us in the past few years.

all i have to say too that is YOU try Being Republican President With a Democrat Run Senate, George bush (although still an idiot) has tried to do many Good things But the Senate Wont let him get anything by.

The fact is the Democrats Are allowing this country to crumble So that when election year comes they will win.

And speaking of this years election, in the words of Savage "we have a choice, between a democrat and a liberal."

Their is no "True" Republican running this year, Hell George Bush is no true Republican.

Now If you want to listen to someone tell some truth listen to savage on the radio.

I believe most the things he has said exept for the stuff on gay people because i could really care less about that.

From what I remember, the senate is republican-dominated right now. And this Bush V. House of Representatives thing is far from just house rejects Bush's funding plans.
