Supposedly they found a bottle of green liquid. Like a green gatorade (you know how rumors spread quickly with cell phones...)

Cuz they would totally keep us in school with a bottle of high explosive just sitting around waiting for someone to bump into it to blow up.

In case you're wondering, it's the same here in the States. DWB - driving while brown - is almost a real crime.

Yeah, atleast in Scotland I get to waatch people being beaten up.

I think the worst I ever had was when they stopped us going down the shops because they'd chased a Con down there. Even then it was only 25 odd police - nothing cool :/ I seriously doubt that Britain has any kind of plan, should this kind of thing happen: even the fire assembly points were inside because of lack of space.

Haha, nearly this same thing happened to my cousin. He goes to Oliver Ames (in Massachusetts) and someone graffit'd BOOM 10509 on the walls over and over again and the entire school was in panic mode the other day.

My cousin and his girlfriend aren't even going to school on the fifth, they're just skipping. :P

Wow you guys are lucky. You get all the action. I LIVE IN DORSET!

At least in Scotland you get 2 guys in a jeep miss their target and set themselves on fire :-D and only in Glasgow would the onlookers actually cry "come on then!"

Over here, in my high-school days, finding a cigarette butt in the corner of the school washroom and the ensuing "hunting-down-who-violated-the-no-smoke-rule" would have already marked the hype of the month.

Hey, you wouldn't happen to be going to school at Waubonsie Valley in Aurora, IL would you?

I went there for 4 years, parents still live nearby. I know there was a gun threat there this month, with airsoft guns included. Small world if you do :P

I live in a fairly small town and my school still gets bomb threats. Not real ones, just dumb stuff written by dumb kids. It's OK though, I'm American so I carry an uzi everywhere I go. It's how I protect myself from everyone else carrying an uzi. I'm kidding, the second amendment is great. Anyone who doesn't believe so, just hasn't shot a 12 gauge shotgun at some plastic jugs filled with water. It's amazing how water filled containers explode when shot.

In Kennesaw, Georgia, every household must own at least one gun. They haven't had a murder in 25 years.

My parents still won't let me get a SPAS 12, though.

Really? I actually go to Oliver Ames myself. I'm probably still going to go that day, since whoever made the threat was probably doing it just to get attention.

In my town, noone can own a gun, at all, ever, under any circumstances. We haven't had a murder since 1841.
