You want to execute people in our government for supposedly blowing up their own buildings and planes, when there are only theories and no substantial solid proof that 9/11 was a conspiracy. surely if 700 architects are questioning the official "story" then something is up.

they havent ask for an investigation into alien abuction, area 51, or tin foil hats.
and in truth the only people shouting "alein conspiracy" are the folk tht dont want it to be investigated.

Well, in the same line i can question whatever comes out of the investigation, it being '9/11 is caused by muslims', '9/11 is caused by bush', '9/11 is caused by aliens'. At some point you have to stop believing there is something more. At some point you need to stop questioning, cause it wont do ya any good, just cost a lot of money. Offcourse you can keep questioning everything untill someone finds a link thats in your line of expectancy, a point which will eventually be reached if you wait long enough. Its a statistical certainty.

Perhaps. you should be the one looking around, I myself once thought there was more to it. But I came to the conclusion that my involvement in that will not help anything.
Does it not upset you that GM, Shitibank, AIG, etc.. have recieved more money than our schools, infrastructure, or "universal healthcare"? I would love to indulge those thoughts, but there are bigger crises at hand.

I often wonder if there would be the same long drawn out talks about conspiracy if it was a liberal president in office when the attacks took place. I know most of these conspiracy theorists are or at least claim to be Independent, but it seems like it is always the right which gets attacked. Look at Clinton and Osama, they (CIA) had Osama bin Laden in their sites and Clinton took a pass on having them take him out. I actually heard it was actually caused by the fact Clinton was too caught up with the Monica crap to actually have his mind on his job. (words right out of Dick Morris' mouth who was an advisor for Clinton) Yet no one really talks about that when they talk about the fact they can not seem to find him now. Anyway, I am not saying it was or was not a conspiracy but it is time to move on. Besides if Rosie O'Donald thinks its true it cant be...

But really, I know people who lost family in the attacks. I have never heard any of them say, "I want the TRUTH." I am sure if they had a choice between the truth and their loved ones back they would say a big fuck you to the truth.

Look at Trident Gum... 9 out of 10 dentists recommends it... There is always going to be at least one person with their own ideas, with their own theories and whatnot. It does not make it true, and it does not make it false, it is simply the belief of one person. But you do not see that one dentist have a commercial saying 1 out of 10 dentists believe Trident Gum is bad. That is because the masses follow the popular opinion. To try an convince the nation that this was a conspiracy will bare as much fruit as trying to convince the world there is no God. Some will follow what you say, but the mass majority will go one believing what they have for the duration of their lives.

I am not saying the truth is not important, but I think you can all see what I mean.

All this "forget the past" thing is ridiculous though, since the present is based on the past and often justified by it. You cannot learn, grow or rectify what could be rectified if you don't know what's true and what not (or at least more probable to be true). An investigation isn't hurting anyone, although I wonder how reliable it would be and I guess no matter the result people will always claim it to be false or biased. There are a lot of important issues, but that should never stop one from ignoring anything, it's not like an investigation like this would hinder other tasks or undertakings of the government or public life.

True, but this is one of the few things the government is supposed to do (administer justice). And the few million it will cost to perform the investigation doesn't even compare to the trillions the government is spending on things they really shouldn't have any involvement with.
