I-Doser

Postby RefaelBA on Fri Jun 12, 2009 11:35 am

Hey guys, I bet a whole lot of you already know this, but there's a program that allows you to affect your mental status using sounds, that temporarily change your brainwave pattern. Or something. It seems to not-bullshit though.
At any rate this program is called I-Dozer, and it lets you experience some pretty cool things like what's it like to take a certain drug, have an orgasm or get into a BAD trip (if you have the guts). There are some pretty cool things to try like a hangover remover, nitrous, awakening and so on...
The program is pretty popular and can be found all around the internet. I just got it yesterday and I'll try it today, I'd also like to hear what are your experiences with this program. You just need to get it on your own, sorry.

One word of advice: STAY AWAY FROM "GATES OF HADES". It is probably the worst experience you'll have in your life, and from what I've read, nearly nobody makes it to the end of the recording...

From what I've read on it, it's about 99% placebo effect. It will only do what you want it to do.

To get off to a pedantic start, it's "I-Doser." :p

I've tried it, and I find to normally be hit and miss. Originally it was designed to be used when someone was meditating so it's probably not overly effective in most cases, and will naturaly vary quite alot from person to person.

The other issue that's been pointed out is that the drugs aren't exactly the same, more approximations of what the real drug is supposed to do. The most effective one's I've found are the ones that aren't supposed to be a specific substance mimic.

From my own use, and doing some reading, taking (different) doses back to back (which it says isn't advisable) seems to be an effective way to get some effects. (of the last does you take) I got a "hit" off of A-Bomb, it felt completely surreal. I could tell I was still lying/sitting in my chair but at the same time I could move my body in free space around my head. When I closed my eyes I could almost see it as such as well.

@: Z@C, you don't then? :smt005

Just tried the free 'content' one myself. I can't really explain how I feel, but during the wooping and hissing it was like good old memories came back from my younger days. And I could see them clearer than normal, more details about furniture and odd stuff like that.

I feel a bit tired in the head, but not uncomfortably. It was interesting to try and I might do it again someday. Cheers! :)

I'll try this out tonight. My brain is much easier to fool at night time.

Listening to the 'Alchohol' one now. Weeeeird...

[edit]

Ok, after listening for a while, I'm fairly sure there are voices underneath all this stuff. Are they making people pay for their brainwashing?

[edit 2]

I didn't notice anything, other than I got a headache. Great stuff, it's like alchohol the morning after you drink it.

Interesting but why wouldn't I just drink and take the drugs?

This way you are only harming your consciousness, unlike the drugs which have an effect on your body as well.

Plus you don't waste money.

In the real non-pirated version of the program they actually make you pay for each "dose" of the drug you listen too which is stupid...
