Pro Choice.

It can be argued that the aborted embryo is not anywhere near a state of consciousness. Most are just a collection of 100-150 cells.

I can understand if the baby is well developed of course, but no abortions are performed anywhere near these amounts of development. But while still in a state of a few hundred cells the parents should have the choice of going through with it or not and I don't think its right for us to step in and tell them what they can and can't do because there opinion on it is different.

You are not killing it, and regardless its a much safer alternative for the parents who may be in financial trouble, underage or unprepared, have a physical or mental disability that endangers themselves or the child's life.

Parents will always find ways to preform abortions like it or not, I would rather they do it in a hospital preformed by doctors than on a couch by a plumber.

You can't fucking denie the fact that your killing something.

You're denying something life,

Saying it isn't alive is a sad selfish excuse. You disgust me..

You really remind me of those narrow minded selfish facepunchers, You know hey let's say I don't like my 3 year old children, THERE MY CHILDREN I SHOULD HAVE THE CHOICE TO RAPE AND MURDER MY CHILDREN!

150 stem cells? Get over it. I kill hundreds of cells if not thousands just scratching my nose.

Those can be used to cure a disease or produce organs and blood for those who need them. You would rather see the people that need these die and/or suffer then to hinder 150 cells from continuing cellular reproduction and eventually becoming specialized? You sir make me sick.

So your saying we should kill babies so we can help our selfs?

so fucking selfish. Hey I'm going to kill my child so I can harvest it's bone marrow!

Only 2 fucking people out of 6 don't enjoy killing babies?

Just fucking close the topic.

They aren't babies. They are stems cells containing the genetic code of both parents, the instructions on how to reproduce and become specialized. These can make a baby, sure, but its not a baby.

Not a baby:

I am with you MrProudfoot... On the Pro-Life thing. I think it is actually really funny how so many who are pro-choice are against the death penalty. Or that the tree hugging "meat is murder" people are fine with killing babies as long as they are human and not a cow. Kill babies but don't eat veal... How messed up is that? Here's a good one... I am pro-choice, let the babies choose...

I have known too many girls who have not used protection and have had several abortions. It is sad to think some people consider it birth control. The fact of the matter is they are not Choices, they are Children...

I agree with Whiffen. It's just a low amount of cells when it's aborted compared to a baby which is millions of cells and is actually able to be distinguished as a male or female instead of just a nearly invisible blob. If you're going to say it's still alive, so are grass and flowers and bacteria and fish and cows. You don't mind killing those though?

Also if the parents are underage and can't afford the baby he/she would have to either live a terrible life with his/her parents or live a possibly even more terrible life in an orphanage without knowing his/her parents. That's more sick than removing an extremely small amount of cells from a person.

Internet is fucked up today so had an accidental double post... Might as well use it.

You posted this in Serious Discussion. You shouldn't just throw around insults at anyone who doesn't agree with you.
