we pretty much only need an economy because we already have one. Its a its a self-sustaining vicious circle, and its basically what makes capitalism so robust.

It can't be lost either. It can only drag on endlessly until we put a stop to it and admit the mistake (not losing in the conventional sense).

I did think they were stupid enough to believe their own lies. I mean, even aside terrorism, WMDs, oil etc, you have Bush talking about "the freedom agenda", and Americans who believe we're actually in Iraq to bring peace and democracy, and that that is somehow actually happening.

But yeah, the economy, capitalism, world dominat- I mean peace... etc.
