due to the total crash of confidence in our current goverment, what is your stand on our politics and who do you think will win in the up-coming elections?

Layton! That guy looks so nice and intelligent, not as Nazi as Harper and as stupid as Martin. Otherwise Duceppe should win in Quebec at least, and we should GTFO from Canada ASAP!!!

If Harper wins, I'm leaving.
And if anybody from Quebec wins, well we can kiss our awesome country good-bye

my thoughts exactly. i had no idea they were having elections.

I was actually recently up to whistler skiing for a weekend, and though the weather was beautiful, it was all ice and packed snow, horrible conditions. and this semi-good looking canadian chick was totally coming on to me for half the day...

Ignorant piece of shit.

anyways, yeah if you went to whistler, were having horrible weather. its december and hasnt snowed YET. Usually, we get it 1-2 days before/after haloween, and it snows hard.

I can walk around in a t-shirt and be fine

And if anybody from Quebec wins, well we can kiss our awesome country good-bye

I'd have to agree

nicely done pulling that off in the serious discussion section.

Anyway, Harper is just a regular egotistic maniac. He feels like he's got the country on a string, but I can't wait to see his face when the liberals get back in (seriously, if anyone else gets in, this country is going to be far more screwed up than it is now. There just isn't any choice!)

I hope the Liberals get knocked out now, they got in so much trouble for making gun owners look like retards, now they've pissed off all the Liberal gun owners, I never vote Liberal, and now more people are discovering their retardedness with their scandals.

P.S. They found the WMD's in Samaria, take that Bush haters! :D

First of all, "they" were probably the ones that put them there.

Second, why should a middle eastern country not be able to have WMD, while the USA, the country which IMO is the biggest threat to world peace, has millions?

I find it somewhat unusual people in the USA (and now it seems the same in canada?) can only choose between Liberals and Democrats? What is so democratic about that? In our country, anyone can start a political party, so when we go vote we can choose out of hundreds of parties. Its not ideal, but much easier to choose a party who thinks exactly like you do.

BTW, ive heard 0 words about canadian elections, is it still that far away or is canada just too unimportant?

Sure, anyone can start a party. As far as I know, in Canada we have The Green Party, The Bloc de Quebecois, The Liberals, the Conservatives, and the NDP.

The thing is, there's probably more, but they get little to no media attention, because they have no money for getting their message out (aka marketing) and barely any support backing from the people
