Motto's and philosophies of life

Postby KILLA-COW on Fri Jan 06, 2006 12:55 pm

I'm sure you all have motto's and philosophical thoughts that you live your life by

Living in someone else's shadow isn't really living at all.

Growing up too soon is like killing a little bit of yourself.

Wisdom doesn't come with age, it comes with experience.

Freedom is not a right, it's earnt.

Forcing love to be happy, will always end in you being hurt.

Those are a few of mine, they're lame but I think of them sometimes before I do things.

What are some of yours?

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Yeah, screw Locke. Life and liberty aren't inalienable rights, only a select few are entitled to it. Oh, and it's EARNED, not earnt. I can't believe you said that people aren't entitled to freedom. Now, freedom isn't FREE, it's earned, but it's CERTAINLY a right.

As for me, here's a few mottos:

Don't be a Dumbass
True joy is found in helping others
Happiness is more than the moment
It's our job to make the world better than it is.
Don't be a dumbass.

Experiance comes with age.

Give a man a fire, he wil be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm the rest of his life.

Theres the quick, and the hungry.

Do not hide behind the mask of conformity or acceptance. You'll only be denying that which you are.
