Personnaly I have no balance between the some what small social life I have and mapping. I have quite a few freinds which one of them luckily loves computers aswell but there are a few who dont and can't understand for shit why I spend days or weeks not going out apart from school. But then they have stuck with me for this long but what worry's me is that my once best mate seems to be slipping away from me so maybe its time for a change. And also I want to get a job in the game industry, what I really want to be is a level desighner (mapper). So all of this helps I guess. Well thats what I say to myself to justify not going out for weeks on end.

But also seeing this thread has some what changed my thoughts and as from thursday I will go out with my mates on a regualar basis.

Or I could keep on what I am doing go to college get a fab job as a super software desighner. Get loads of money and wave it in his face when I see him on the street and say "this is why I hybernated all that time and see where its got me" and then procede to slap him around the face with the money bundle.
