Off topic but i need your help

Hey guy's (and gal's)

I know i haven't been around for what seem's like a life time but...

My Grandfather lost his battle with Cancer in december just gone.

It's been a daily event for the last 7 odd months, popping in everyday to see him, talk about "the war", childhoods, dreams, passions etc... what my ambitions are etc... then checking to see how my Nan was coping, doing odd jobs etc...

Max'ing, Hammering, photoshop'ing and Gaming for me has gone out the window, along with pretty much everything else. i've literally been work, hospice, Nans, bed, work, hospice, Nans... no time for anything really. I'm not complaining, every second with him was a pleasure and i'm thankful for the time we did have with him.

Anyway, I've decided to do something off the wall, and in memory of my Grandad i will be cycling across Vietnam in November this year where i aim to raise several thousand pound for Cancer Research and St Anne's Hospice along the way

Can i please ask you all to go to my site: http://www.cycle4charity.org and sponsor me.

Even if you all sponsored me a pound each, it all helps 2 very worthy charities that help treat cancer patients

Cancer has or will affect every one of us in some way, please help to put things right

Thanks

Steve

PS i got not time to do any more max'ing n sh!t now.... i'm out training on me bike!! :D

PPS Cwmcarn mountain trail is NOT moderate!! (the lying little basta.. does lungs & arse bring anything to mind

come on peeps, it's the weekend, the working week is over (for most people), we can all let our hair down and enjoy ourselves for 2 days without the stress of work!!

have 1 less pint/babycham/tequila and sponsor me a £5

feel good

and think of me tomorrow morning cycling my way over 30 miles of frozen welsh country side, -5 degrees, probably working off tonights carlsberg , shivering, in pain, wanting bed, warmth and the feel of eva longoria next to me... alas i've just have to make do with some work mates who want to come along for the ride

Same here, both my dad's parents (the grandmother and grandfather I grew up with the most) have passed on. And my grandmother (the one I liked most) died of cancer. It was back in 2001 if I recall...

My mom's parents are still alive, though, so I still have grandparents. :)

make sure you see them and make the most of the time you have with them!!

Although most grandparents live a totally different lifestyle and have very different views, they are quite simply, amazing!! if it wasn't for them, we all wouldn't be here

makes me mad seeing how old people are treated in this country (UK)
